McDonalds
When the opportunity came up for a very exciting project for the global McDonalds' brand, it became a personal quest to get the booking. During the preliminary stages I don't think I've ever worked so hard and the process, whilst drawn out, was immensely thrilling.
I was over the moon when I got the call confirming my place in the project and bizarrely I thrived on the lengthy selection process. Numerous castings, recalls, and wardrobe fittings later, I was dressed in a purple flapper style dress with a huge glitzy head dress, crazy makeup, and afro hair!
The project was long and tiring starting at 7am and finishing at 6pm, but well worth it! The second part of the project involved a row of 12 of us running through a freezing cold swimming pool in red swimming costumes, in the rain, which will be shown in slow motion, a parody of Baywatch I suspect.
I was glad to see just how a global company approaches a project and I wasn't disappointed. It was seriously hard work but fun and rewarding in equal measure. The absolute professionalism is breathtaking and the whole team involved in the production process were among the most talented people I’ve ever worked with.
This is to be a fairly long, seasonal campaign throughout the spring/summer and the commercial will be shown across ALL terrestrial channels starting in May.
Ministry of Sound
The ministry of sound job was probably the luckiest job I managed to get, but I am SO glad I did! Hundreds of girls were casted for the role, and I was completely unaware it was for a dance advert! I CANT DANCE! After an extremely nerve wracking and humiliating casting I left feeling deflated, but got a call that afternoon to say the client loved me, and wanted me for the advert!
The advert was bigger than I imagined, and the clips now front the new ministry of sound Dance Nation TV channel on SKY (channel 376)
The day was just overwhelming from start to end, with fantastic other girls to work with, brilliant makeup artists and stylists and a very fun, dedicated team...
Sista Shei
"Charlotte Girl is a dreamer, a thinker, a romanticist, a fantasist, a believer. She doesn’t take anything too seriously and she loves the life. She embraces new experiences and rarely says no to anything or accepts no for an answer. That’s why we as Sista Shei team decided to work with her, and wanted her to be our face of Sista Shei. While working with her, we experienced her highly professional way of modeling, always smiley, positive, fully energetic and deserves everything she gets… We are very much glad of having our products on her and planning to use in our other projects as well… She loves Sista Shei, we love her…"
